How the estimate is worked out
- Daily supply charge for 365 days$622.78
- Off-peak usage, 1,867 kWh (47%)$314.53
- Peak usage, 2,133 kWh (53%)$764.29
Assumptions:
- Time-of-use split: 47% off-peak, 53% peak wherever the plan has those windows. Change the split if you know your own pattern.
- Usage of 4,000 kWh a year, a reference figure used to compare plans on equal terms.
- Usage is spread evenly across the year and across each season.
- All prices include GST. Feed-in credits do not attract GST.
