How the estimate is worked out

Assumptions:

Time-of-use split: 35% off-peak, 25% shoulder, 40% peak wherever the plan has those windows. Change the split if you know your own pattern.
Usage of 4,000 kWh a year, a reference figure used to compare plans on equal terms.
Usage is spread evenly across the year and across each season.
All prices include GST. Feed-in credits do not attract GST.
One-off sign-up or bill credits are counted in the first-year figure only.

This is an estimate. Your actual bill depends on when and how much energy you use, future price changes and whether you meet the plan's eligibility rules.

$250 Credit Offer
Offer available to eligible NSW residential customers who sign up to Flexi Plan directly with EnergyAustralia. One $250 (incl. GST) credit per new electricity account, per customer address. Credit will be applied to your first bill unless the bill charges are less than the credit, when the balance of the credit will be applied to your next bill; and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. We may change or end this offer at any time.

This plan pays a retailer feed-in tariff of 3c/kWh for energy you export.

Exit fee: None listed
Price changes: Prices may be varied in line with your terms and conditions. We will give you notice before any new prices take effect.
When it ends: The Benefit Period for this plan is 12 months. We will provide you with notice of your options prior to the end of the Benefit Period. Your contract will continue until it is ended by either party.
