How HouseholdBills makes money
Comparison sites are businesses. Here is exactly how this one is paid, and what that does and does not change.
The ways we can be paid
- Affiliate commissions. Some providers pay us if you sign up after following our link.
- Referral fees. Some providers pay us when you ask them to contact you through our site.
- Sponsored placements. A provider can pay for an advertisement. It is always marked Sponsored and kept apart from the ranked results.
- HouseholdBills Plus. An optional paid membership with more properties, alerts and reports.
What it does not change
Commercial relationships do not secretly decide the order of comparison results. The order comes from estimated cost and, if you choose best match, the published weights on How we compare. We show plans whether or not we are paid for them, and every result links to the provider's own site.
We do not compare every plan in the market, and we do not sell your personal information. When you click through to a provider we record that a click happened, not who you are.
Current commercial relationships
We have no commercial relationships with any provider at the moment.
